Syndicate: Reopening the Syndicate Archive?

I am somewhat in doubt about reopening the online archive of the
mailinglist. It would be convenient for many to have the whole thing
available, 

I might leave out mails from the last few months or select and exclude
messages from the trouble area but it isn't very practical.
Also: as soon as the archive reopens all newly posted messages will appear
there automatically.
Opinions? Suggestions?
