IT IS DIRECT AND PRIVATE ANSWER TO GROWN PRIVATE PERSON. SOME FACTS and now, something completely different (for those who love facts and read history-you, dariusz, does not look like one of, but who knows... maybe you will learn something. also: i am NOT katarina the great niether her ex-lover who used to be king of poland in time when poland was sloughtered and cutted to pieces, so you forgot some of the dictators, haven`t you?!) LOCATION novi sad is capitol of province vojvodina. vojvodina is situated on the pannonian plain, on the northeast part of yugoslavia, on the border of yugoslavia, hungary and romania. POPULATION according to the national census vojvodina has about 2.012.517 inhabitants. it is an open, fertile plain, traditionaly a migrational area. with the national variety of its population, it represents a peculiar ethnic phenomenon. serbs.....................1.151,353 or 57% ___________________________________ hungarians............. 340.946 or 16,94% croats................... 97.644 or 4,85% slovaks................ 63.941 or 3,17% montenegrins ........ 44.721 or 2,22% rumanians ............ 38.831 or 1,92% ruthanians ........... 17.887 or 0,88% macedonians 16.641 or 0,82% yugoslavs * ....... 168.859 or 8,39% others ................ 71.703 or 3,56 ____________________________________ *proserbians* 42,75% (if it were not lives in question it would be a good joke) *-usualy used by people from mixed marriages which do not wish to be clasified in favour of any of their parents - idealists dariusz?! RELIGIOUS ORGANISATIONS in vojvodina there are 34 religious organisatioons and communities. the most numerous are the following: serbian ortodox church, roman catholic church, slovak-lutheran church, rumanian greek-ctholic church and presbyterian church. jewish community is not big but very prominent. all those who visited novi sad had a chanse to enjoy standing between ortodox church, catholic cathedrale, presbytherian church and synagogue in the middle of the city. I ADMIT: I AM proud to be part of this multinational and multicultural city. about political oppinion-those who seriously follow syndicate list know enough... and, for the sake of facts and truth, novi sad and vojvodina IS part of serbia/yugoslavia. so, this *small* percent of inhabitants (42, 75%) of this region is under bombings too. best and keep smiling br
