thanks for sending the info about COMTEC - i had been looking for it already.

beside the slight irony of the "COMTEC art - Messe fuer computergestuetzte
Kunst in Dresden" inviting internet art projects but not having e-mail
access, it might still be good to point out a few details of their call in
english. most importantly, only artists from germany can participate in the
competition.

it's connected to the industrial fair / Fachmesse COMTEC that takes place
at the same time.

Projects can come from the following fields
- Internet (virtual networks as message and medium of the artist)
- Interaction (Man-Machine-Man)
- Multimedia (syntheses of the media synaesthesia)
- Computerart (graphics, video, installation)
- Performances (in the context of digital data processing)

Prize
1st prize DM 5000,-
2nd-6th prize DM 1000,- each

Participants
have to come from the Federal Republic of Germany, deadline was 15.8. [but
may be extended].
