[Nettime-nl] Bundel, Boek, Blog (Leiden, 15 juni) |
The Dutch Society for Comparative Literature (VAL) organizes a mini-symposium on the future of the book, entitled ‘Bundel, Boek, Blog.’ Six speakers, a specialist in contemporary poetry (Thomas Vaessens) a meda theorist (Arie Altena), a scholar of performance poetry (Cornelia Graebner), two poets and bloggers (Chretien Breukers and Samuel Vriezen) and a graphic designer (Will Holder), will reflect on the question: what does it mean that contemporary literature - and poetry in particular - reaches its audiences no longer predominantly in printed form, but rather through blogs, webpages or poetry slams?
Presentations will be in Dutch and English. Discussion will be in Dutch.
Time: Friday June 15th, 1 - 5 pm; location: Leiden University, Van Wijkplaats 2 / 002. For information Yasco Horsman: y.horsman@let.leidenuniv.nl.
