Thanks for pointing out the need to have these waypoints
throughout the globe. Many of us do so informally with friends and
friends-of-friends. But such places were also prevalent with the
squatting community throughout Europe---I say "was" because so many of
the laws that made squatting legal are being repealed, most horribly
in Holland which had one of the most vibrant scenes, as many here are
probably aware. Supporting squatters' rights is one of the best ways
to ensure the future availability of these havens in our travels.
