MISSION STATEMENT

We are an international, intercultural community of persons engaged in achieving
increasing understanding and cooperation between individuals and groups in
support of democratic procedures and the elimination of violence, religious,
ethnic and gender persecution, youth exploitation, homophobia and racial hatred
through the process of art, education, culture and dialogue. 

Wir sind eine internationale, interkulturelle Gemeinschaft von Menschen mit dem
Engagement für ein besseres Verständnis und wachsende Kooperation zwischen
Individuen und Gruppen, mit Unterstützung des demokratischen Prozesses und der
Beseitigung von Gewalt, Verfolgung aufgrund religiöser, ethnischer und
geschlechtlicher Zugehörigkeit, Kindes- und Jugendmissbrauch,
Homosexuellen-Feindlichkeit und von Rassenhass, durch die Mittel der Kunst, der
Bildung, der Kultur und des Dialogs.

Nous sommes une communauté internationale et interculturelle de personnes

ON AIRE², A Moment in "Time" is a musical theatre depiction of the passage of
?Time?, as measured by humans whose ?Time? is always fleeting, in relationship
to the machinations of nature, which functions at will regardless of "Time?.
A portrayal of the co-existence of life and ?Time? as presented through film,
song, dance, spoken word and music.

ON AIRE², A Moment in "Time" ist ein Musiktheater über die Vergänglichkeit der
?Zeit?, veranschaulicht von Menschen, deren ?Zeit? ständig vorbeirauscht, in
Beziehung zu den Machenschaften der Natur, die ihrem eigenen Willen folgt,
ungeachtet der ?Zeit?.
Eine Darstellung der Koexistenz vom Leben und der ?Zeit?, präsentiert durch
Film, Lieder, Tanz, das gesprochene Wort und Musik.

Grownupism!
1 Day, When I Grow Up!

So, as usual, I wuz sittin? an? stinkin? ?bout how to git aroun' the
dragon-teecher an' her alwayz botherin' me an' my pardnurs with questions!
I meen, it wuldn't be so bad if she jes asked questions I culd space out on the
mouth noise, but she even wants us to answer the stuff she's askin'!
Wow!
Talk 'bout dragon-teecher torture!
So now she's after us 'bout elections an' stuff!
Wut do I know 'bout all this confusion?
One of my pardnurs told her his father sed, "the politicians are all the same,
only after what they can get for themselves, while pretending they are
interested in serving the people's interests."
When he sed that the dragon-teecher looked kinda sad for a moment!
It wuz reely sumthin' to see her!
She wuz almos' human!
But she changed reel quick an' sed, "That is a matter for us to discuss,
research and write about!"
Oh no!
I can not even vote, so why shuld I even care 'bout all this politician stuff,
'specially if I have to write 'bout it!
So, wut's a kid to do when the home work stuff starts pilin' up?
Off to the best internet info centre in the wurl.
Granma an' Papa! Yippee!
I asked them wut they thought of my pardnur's perents opinion?
They looked at each other for a moment an' then sighed!
I thought, oh, oh! Here it cums!
Papa sed, "In many ways the opinion of your friend's perents is how a lot of
people feel about politicians. The needs of the poeple seem to be uncared for
and the politicians cater to moneyed interests in order to finance their
campaign and possibly lifestyle, then the people and their interests are left on
the sidelines, unless the politicians need them for taxes, votes or a war!!"
Granma chimed in an' sed, "I understand how people feel, after so many
disappointments, but we have to try to change things for the better with
education, organization, money, votes and hope!"
Well, as usual, my perents gave me a lot to stink 'bout an' I'm sure I kin find
sumthin' in all that knowledge from Granma and Papa to put a little smile on the
dragon's face!
Anyway, I sure hope so?!
I'm gittin' sleepy, so I'm gonna say
G?nite.

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!

Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz'n und Stink'n darüba, wie ich um die
Drachenlehrerin rum komm' und ihre ewige Quälerei mit Fragen für mich und meine
Kumpels!
Ich mein, es wär nich' so schlimm, wenn sie nur Fragen stell'n würde, ich könnte
wegträum' bei dem Gemurmel, aber sie will ja, dass wir auf ihre Fragen
antwort'n!
Wow!
Was für 'ne Drachenlehrerin-Folter!
Also, jetz' kommt sie uns mit Wahlen und so'n Kram!
Was weiß ich üba all dies Durcheinander?
Einer meiner Kumpels erzählte ihr, was sein Vater sagte: ?Die Politiker sind
alle gleich, streben nur danach, was sie für sich selbst dabei rausholen können,
während sie vorgeben, sie seien daran interessiert, den Interessen der Menschen
zu dienen.?
Als er das sagte, sah die Drachenlehrerin für einen Moment irgendwie traurig
aus!
Das war echt was, sie so zu seh'n!
Sie war fast menschlich!
Aber sie änderte sich echt schnell wieder und sagte: ?Das ist eine Materie für
uns, über die wir diskutieren, recherchieren und schreiben können.?
Oh, nein!
Ich kann nich' ma' wählen, also warum soll mich dieses ganze Politikzeugs
kümmern, besonders wenn ich darüber schreib'n soll!
Also, was bleibt einem Kind zu tun, wenn der ganze Hausaufgabenkram beginnt,
sich aufzutürm'?
Ab zum besten Internetinfocenter auf der Welt.
Oma und Papa, juchuh!
Ich fragte sie, was sie üba die Meinung von den Eltern meines Kumpels denken?
Sie kuckten sich ein' Moment lang an und dann seufzt'n sie!
Ich dachte, oh, oh! Jetz' kommt's!
Papa sagte: ?In vieler Hinsicht gibt die Meinung der Eltern deines Freundes das
wieder, was viele Menschen über Politiker denken. Für die Bedürfnisse der
Menschen scheint nicht gesorgt zu werden und die Politiker richten sich nach der
Finanzwelt, um ihre Kampagne zu finanzieren und möglicherweise ihren Lebensstil,
dann werden die Menschen und ihre Interessen am Rande gelassen, es sei denn, die
Politiker benötigen sie zum Zahlen von Steuern, für Wahlen oder einen Krieg!!
Oma griff ein und sagte: ?Ich verstehe, wie Menschen sich fühlen nach so vielen
Enttäuschungen, aber wir müssen versuchen, Dinge zum Guten zu verändern mit
Bildung, Geld, Wahlen und Hoffnung!?
Nun, wie üblich gab'n mir meine Eltern 'ne Menge zum Nachdenk'n und ich bin
sicher, ich kann in dem ganzen Wissen von Oma und Papa was find'n, um ein
kleines Lächeln in das Drachengesicht zu bring'n!
Jedenfalls will ich das ma' hoff'n?
Ich werd müde, also sag ich
