<nettime-ann> [ann] Situationist inspired Manifestation 26/27 November Utrecht |
The cultural debating center Tumult (uproar/noise) organizes two days inspired by the situationist movement with lectures, debates, movies and driftings in the town of Utrecht, checking out the significance of this movement of the fifities and sixties almost half a century later... The programhas been prepared by Rene Sanders who has studied the situationist movement for decades. A part of this manifestation is Dutch spoken... but there are also English speaking events. Especially the film/movie program should be mentioned, because there are only very few occasions to see Lettrist and Situationist films like: Maurice Lemaitre, 'Le film est deja commence' (1951). Guy Debord, 'Hurlement en faveur de Sade' (1952), 'Sur le passage de quelques personnes' (1959), 'Critique de la seperation' (1961) en 'La societe du spectacle' (1973) The full program can be found at: http://www.tumultdebat.nl/newhtml/Situs/index.html _______________________________________________ nettime-ann mailing list nettime-ann@nettime.org http://www.nettime.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nettime-ann
